Hello
I’m Sonya Homewood and the founder of Pebble People Development. I’ve been passionate about the development of people for my whole career. And I love helping people and teams develop themselves to achieve their ambitions and solve problems. Avoiding the cookie cutter approach, all of our solutions here at Pebble People Development are bespoke to ensure every client achieves the outcome they want to.
I live in Lincolnshire with my hubby and two spaniels, have four children and five grandchildren, and when not working, I generally just try to appreciate and enjoy life with people and the world around me!
My Story
With over 35 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry, I've always been passionate about helping people and teams grow. In my last corporate role as Chief Operating Officer for a major UK company, I had the privilege of building high-performing teams and supporting individuals as they stepped into senior and executive positions.

In 2020, I decided to focus fully on what I love most - developing people and businesses. Since then, I’ve been offering a range of services designed to unlock potential and drive meaningful change. These include:

As an accredited coach with the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC), I work with high potential individuals, senior leaders, and board members including CEOs to explore career possibilities, tackle challenges, and grow personally and professionally. I also offer team coaching to help groups overcome specific issues and work more effectively together.

In my role as a board advisor and trustee, I support start-ups, scale-ups, and organisations navigating growth or transformation. I help shape strategy, develop people and culture plans, refine organisational design, and improve business operations. I currently sit on three boards and serve as a trustee for a large charity.

As an Insights Discovery partner, I provide personality profiling and workshops that help individuals and teams understand themselves and each other better. I also support organisations looking to become accredited to deliver Insights Discovery internally.

And for a more creative approach, I’m an advanced LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Facilitator, using this innovative method to help teams think differently, solve problems, and collaborate more effectively.

Finally, drawing on my extensive experience in building high-performing teams, I design and deliver bespoke leadership programmes tailored to the unique needs of each organisation.
